Background In response to an EPA review, highlighting a high number of sewer overflow events from the Raymond Terrace No. 7 Wastewater Pump Station (WWPS) rising main, PRP 3 required the licensee to investigate and submit a report detailing upgrade works necessary to reduce the frequency of overflows caused by rising main failure. . The licensee developed a Failure Investigation and Management Report, which identified the preferred upgrade solution, being the replacement of 400 metres of the rising main pipeline. Deliverables By 30 June 2015, complete upgrade works on the Raymond Terrace No. 7 WWPS rising main to reduce the frequency and risk of overflows at the site caused by sewer rising main failure. The licensee must notify the EPA once these works have been completed.
